Frozen Pipes Are a Winter Fact of Life Around Here

Anyone who’s lived through a January in upstate New York knows the drill. The temperature drops into the single digits, a pipe in an exterior wall or an unheated crawl space freezes solid, and then it cracks. The frustrating part is that nothing happens until it thaws. That’s when the water starts pouring into your ceiling or down the inside of a wall.
We’ve handled hundreds of these calls over the years, from Clifton Park to Glens Falls. Our crews get there fast, stop the water, and start extraction and drying before the damage gets worse. Frozen pipe leaks tend to hide, running along joists and inside wall cavities, so we use thermal imaging and moisture meters to find every wet spot instead of guessing.
The sooner we start, the more we can save. Hardwood, cabinets, and drywall have a short window before they’re a loss.

Our Restoration Process

Track Down the Leak

We find the failed section and map every room the water reached, then document it for your claim.

Dry It Out Properly

Industrial dehumidifiers and air movers run under daily monitoring until moisture readings are back to normal.

Fix It and Prevent a Repeat

We repair the damage and point out the cold spots and insulation gaps that let the pipe freeze.

How We Handle Frozen Pipe Damage

First we contain it. Water gets shut off, standing water gets extracted, and anything that can’t be dried gets removed. Then the drying equipment goes in and stays until the structure is genuinely dry, not just dry to the touch.
After that, our reconstruction team takes over. Drywall, flooring, trim, paint, whatever the water ruined. We also look at why it froze in the first place. Uninsulated runs, drafty rim joists, a garage that’s colder than it should be. Fixing that now is a lot cheaper than doing this again next February.
We work with all the major insurance carriers and handle the paperwork ourselves. You’ve got enough going on.
